We are currently looking for a Full Time Senior Site Van Driver/Cook to join our Colbert Senior Center team located at the Panola Senior Center working 7:00AM-4:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:
The purpose of this position is to complete food preparation and food delivery for elder senior center participants and/or responsible for transporting elderly participants to and from the Chickasaw Nation senior center.

Responsibilities:
* Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
* Cleans assigned area
- Cleans and sweeps floors
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
- May empty ash trays
- Disposes of trash
- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks
- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas
* Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
* Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested
* Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls, maintain sanitization of restrooms, empty and clean waste receptacles
* Assists in preparation of orders for food and food service products for cost effectiveness and efficiency of operation
* Ensures appropriate temperature, labeling and storage of food and food products to avoid contamination and ensure quality
* Assists in maintaining proper records including food purchase forms, menu planning guides, meal counts, and freezer/refrigerator logs
* Abides by all CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) regulations and policies set forth
* Maintains proper sanitation and safety practices
* Ensures cleanliness, maintenance, safety and sanitation of kitchen and or other assigned areas and reports all necessary problems immediately
* Cooks, prepares, assembles and plates all food in a tasteful and timely manner
* Monitors ongoing quality through tasting, smelling, and observing food to ensure consistency with recipes and appearance standards
* Follows prescribed menus and recipes
* Inspects elder's residence and premises for minor home safety hazards and corrects immediately or reports needed repairs to supervisor
* Prepares daily reports
* Prepares monthly reports
* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
* Properly cares for vehicle and it's component parts as prescribed by the company to maximize wear and to extend its useful life
* Inspects each vehicle weekly using the correct procedure and completes the trip inspection form, check safety equipment
* Keeps vehicle clean and orderly with daily cleaning after each trip as well as checks for lost items
* Attends all required in-service training, school, required meetings and training as well as any other required meetings
* Transports Chickasaw citizens and other First Americans to and from appointments, meetings, and activities as needed
* Assists passengers and equipment on and off vehicle as needed, including operating mobility device lift and securing mobility device according to manufacturer's instructions
* May clean and/or service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories
* Maintains first aid kits and fire extinguisher in all center vehicles
* Distributes menus, calendar of events and newsletters to homebound participants on daily route
* Performs all other duties as assigned
