As a Shift Leader, you'll work alongside the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, coach team members, and uphold Smoothie King's high standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer service. Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts. Deliver an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service. Maximize sales performance while helping drive store profitability. Complete opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently. Prepare and make bank deposits. Assist with inventory management and product ordering. Ensure smoothies and food items are prepared consistently according to Smoothie King standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment. Enforce company policies, operational standards, and all applicable health and safety regulations. Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement. Foster a positive, energetic, and team-focused workplace culture.

Qualifications

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail or food service is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead by example and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Comfortable making decisions and delegating responsibilities. Reliable, punctual, and accountable. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Physical Requirements

Operate blenders, POS systems, and other restaurant equipment safely. Lift and move boxes weighing up to 55 pounds. Frequently bend, reach, lift, and stand throughout the shift. Work in refrigerated and freezer environments (40F to -10F) as needed. Tolerate exposure to common food allergens.
