Skilled TIG Welder (1st Shift)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform near-perfect coined GTAW welds on aluminum and steel (thickness range is .080 to 1)Interpret shop drawings and follow weld symbolsProduce structurally sound welds to meet deadlinesMaintain knowledge of the GMAW processREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:At least two years of aluminum GTAW welding experience in a fast-paced environmentPossession of proper work shoes/boots & auto-darkening welding helmetAbility to read a tape measureAbility to pass an all-position AWS Welder Qualification test (set-up and efficiency will be evaluated as well)Ability to operate hand tools to prep and dress welds as requiredBasic computer skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSFive years of aluminum TIG welding experienceFive years of steel GMAW experiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to stand/walk up to 10 hours a day, 5-6 days a weekAbility to lift 50 pounds, unassistedWHAT WE OFFER:Production Bonus Program EligibleComprehensive Benefits Package (medical, dental, vision options)Paid Time Off (PTO)8 Paid Company Holidays401k & Roth with Generous Company MatchAdoption AssistanceCompany-Paid Short-Term Disability InsuranceTuition & Professional Development Reimbursement
