We’re seeking a dedicated SLP to support K–12 students with developmental disabilities in a school-based setting. You’ll have the opportunity to help students build communication skills, increase independence, and succeed academically and socially—all while enjoying a 10-month

school-year schedule with June and July off!

What You’ll Do

  • Provide speech and language services to K–12 students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Write evaluation reports and contribute to IEP development
  • Program, monitor, and maintain AAC devices and communication systems
  • Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Complete Medicaid billing and required service records
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Promote functional communication, independence, and classroom participation

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Arizona SLP License
  • Arizona Department of Education Certificate
  • Ability to obtain an AHCCCS Provider Number and NPI
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Arizona Hearing Screening Certificate
  • Experience with AAC devices and communication systems
  • Experience working with students with developmental disabilities

Work Environment

  • School-based setting serving K–12 students

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. with assistance

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
