Take your Speech Language Pathology expertise to the next level with a highly rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This position is full-time and based onsite, working with a diverse K-12 student caseload at a welcoming school near Detroit, MI.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in a school-based environment preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s specific needs
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Monitor and document students’ progress toward therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support holistic student development
- Participate in multidisciplinary IEP meetings and school-based intervention teams
