Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist serving a hospital in Belton, MO. Provide assessment and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient setting. Work with interdisciplinary teams to perform instrumental evaluations including video fluoroscopic swallowing studies and support patient discharge planning and education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required.
• Active state SLP license required to start the assignment.
• Inpatient hospital experience required.
• Experience performing and interpreting video fluoroscopic swallow studies required.
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar acute care documentation systems preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Required dress code: scrubs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a small to mid-size hospital (approximately 70 beds) preferred.
• Experience with inpatient discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–17:00.
• Work setting: inpatient speech unit.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
