Responsibilities
As a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer within our TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System) and Transponder Product Team, you will play a critical role in the development, integration and implementation of advanced Avionics navigation, communications & airborne surveillance systems. Your systems engineering expertise will not only impact on the successful delivery of cutting-edge Avionics solutions but also contribute to the broader mission of enhancing global aviation travel, navigation and safety.
In this role, you'll play an integral role in integrating and harmonizing avionic systems that are critical for flight safety, directly contributing to the advancement of aviation technology in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work across disciplines, collaborating with cross-functional teams in Systems, Software, Hardware and Test Engineering in the design, development, testing and integration of multi-application TCAS systems.
- Systems Integration: Drive systems integration activities of TCAS and transponder systems into avionics platforms, ensuring that hardware and software components function seamlessly.
- Develop system architectures that align with product goals while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards
- Execute and/or support system integration testing and analysis of results to identify issues, assess performance, and recommend improvements.
- Analyze stakeholder requirements, breaking them down into technical specifications that guide the design and development processes.
- Customer Interaction.
- Project Oversight / Coordination.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering practices, TCAS, and airborne Avionics technologies.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience
WE VALUE
- Familiarity with RF products is of value.
- Experience in complex Systems Integration activities.
- Experience in similar product domains is a Plus i.e. Avionics, Navigation, Communications, Radar, Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT), etc.
- Experience with systems development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
- Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
- Multi-tasking and ability to adapt dictated by project changes.
