LTS is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex development and commercial programs from initiation through closeout. In this highly visible role, you will partner with internal teams, external customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to keep programs on time, within scope, and aligned to quality expectations in a pharmaceutical/GMP manufacturing environment.
This position is based in West St. Paul, MN and is hybrid eligible after the introductory period is complete.
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM
What You'll Do:
- Lead senior-level project management activities across program initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout.
- Manage complex customer-facing programs to successful delivery, balancing timelines, scope, quality, risk, cost, and stakeholder expectations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for development and commercial programs, providing high-quality customer service and clear communication.
- Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and next steps to internal and external stakeholders in a timely, professional manner.
- Influence and lead cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and drive accountability for committed deliverables.
- Apply LTS project management methodologies and tools, including timelines, agendas, meeting notes, action logs, risk tracking, and project task lists.
- Identify critical path activities, proactively assess timeline impacts, and escalate significant risks or business relationship concerns.
- Resolve program-related issues involving statements of work, billing, material inventory, material ordering and disposition, customer complaints, and change-of-scope items.
- Partner with accounting, supply chain, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and other functions to support purchase orders, invoices, work orders, ERP requirements, and resource planning.
- Facilitate phase gate reviews, customer visits, audits, and project meetings while helping teams navigate competing priorities.
- Support product packaging, design-related customer requests, and out-of-scope work proposals as needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, a science-related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including leadership of complex, cross-functional programs.
- 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP manufacturing, CDMO, or similarly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use project management methodologies and tools to manage schedules, scope, action items, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical and scientific topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Project.
- Strong communication, organization, time management, interpersonal influence, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level proficiency with MS Project.
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Exposure to SAP ERP is very helpful.
