Monroe-Woodbury Central School District Substitute Opportunities

All school district jobs require fingerprint clearance from NYSED. Applicants must be computer literate.

Position Requirements:

• Teacher: Must have at least 60 college credits
• Home Instructor: Must have NYS teacher certification
• Teaching Assistant: Must have at least 6 college credits
• Registered Nurse: Must have NYS RN license
• Security Guard: Must have security guard license and 8 hour course; applicants must be interviewed and approved by security director
• Coach: Must have NYS teacher certification or NYS coaching certification
• Clerical Monitor: Teachers Aide: Bus Monitor: Must be at least 19 years of age to apply; applicants must be interviewed and approved by transportation director
• Bus Driver: Must be at least 21 years of age to apply; must have class B commercial driver's license, with P and S endorsements; approval by NY DMV Bus Driver Unit "Active-School Qualified"; applicants must be interviewed and approved by transportation director
• Food Service Helper: Applicants must be interviewed and approved by food services director
• Custodian: Must be at least 21 years of age to apply; applicants must be interviewed and approved by buildings & grounds director
• Maintenance: Must be at least 21 years of age to apply; applicants must be interviewed and approved by buildings & grounds director
• Groundsman: Must be at least 21 years of age to apply; applicants must be interviewed and approved by buildings & grounds director
• Lifeguard: Must be a NYS certified lifeguard and hold first aid & CPR certifications
