SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL BUS DRIVER - Bulletin #084-26

School Bus Driver

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid California Class B Driver's License with passenger and air brakes endorsement

Valid California Special Driver Certificate (CHP 295) for school bus operation with no restrictions, with the exception of Automatic Transmission Only and/or First Aid Test Waived

Valid First Aid certification

Six (6) months of experience as a school bus driver OR successful completion of District or other approved bus driver training programs

Proof of certificates, education, etc. will be required upon recommendation for employment.

One (1) year or more of successful experience as a school bus driver is desirable
