Supervisor - INFANT/TODDLER (0-2 YEARS)Position: Assistant Director, Infant/Toddler Program Reports to: Center Director Wage: $20/hour FLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition Summary: Provides direct supervision and support for infant and toddler classrooms, ensuring developmental appropriateness, safety, and quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 24 months.Essential Responsibilities:Classroom Supervision (40%)Oversee 4-5 infant/toddler classroomsEnsure proper ratios (1:4 infants, 1:6 toddlers)Monitor developmental milestone trackingConduct daily classroom observationsModel best practices in infant careStaff Management (30%)Direct supervision of 8-10 infant/toddler teachersProvide daily coaching and feedbackCoordinate break and lunch coverageConduct classroom staff evaluationsLead infant/toddler team meetingsParent Communication (15%)Address infant/toddler parent concernsConduct developmental conferencesOversee daily reports and communicationSupport transition planning to toddler roomsFacilitate parent education opportunitiesAdministrative Support (15%)Maintain infant/toddler enrollment recordsMonitor supply needs and inventoryEnsure health and safety complianceCreate staff schedules for departmentSupport Director with tours as neededRequired Qualifications:CDA credential or 12+ ECE college credits2+ years infant/toddler experience1+ year lead teacher experienceInfant/child CPR and First Aid certifiedStrong understanding of infant developmentSuccess Metrics:95%+ department capacityZero safety incidents4.5+ parent satisfaction rating90%+ staff retention in departmentAll developmental assessments completed on time
