Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in Atlanta, GA. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing intraoperative support to the surgical team.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment.
  • Experience with cardiac surgical instrumentation and sterile processing specific to CVOR procedures.
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity operating room and collaborate with multi-disciplinary cardiac teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced cardiac intraoperative experience such as assisting in CABG, valve repair/replacement, or LVAD procedures.
  • Previous experience in a large hospital or tertiary care center.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).


Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 10-hour shifts (AM 10 noted).
  • Schedule: 4x10 (four 10-hour shifts per week).
  • Assignment requires functioning within the CVOR team for cardiac surgical cases.
