Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

At Swickard Toyota of Edmonds, the Technician Services Manager is the technical backbone of the service department. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced technician who is ready to step up -- overseeing shop operations from the floor, providing direct technical support to the team, and owning the training and development of every technician in the building.

Manage daily shop workflow from the floor -- assigning repair orders, monitoring technician productivity, and keeping the operation running efficiently and on schedule

Serve as the primary technical resource for the team -- supporting diagnosis on complex or unusual repairs, reviewing repair plans, and ensuring quality control before vehicles are returned to guests

Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to technicians at all skill levels -- your experience on the floor is the foundation of everything this role does

Own technician training and development -- identifying skill gaps, coordinating Toyota manufacturer training, managing certification timelines, and building a culture of continuous improvement in the shop

Monitor technician efficiency, comeback rates, and quality metrics -- identifying trends and implementing corrections proactively

Ensure full compliance with Toyota technical standards, warranty repair procedures, and manufacturer requirements on every vehicle

Partner with service management to support department goals, workflow improvements, and staffing needs

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment that reflects the standard of the Toyota brand

5+ years of dealership technician experience -- required. This role demands real technical credibility, and the team will know if you don't have it

Toyota brand experience strongly preferred -- familiarity with Toyota diagnostic platforms, TSBs, and warranty procedures is a significant advantage

Toyota Master or Expert certification preferred -- or equivalent experience and credentials

Proven diagnostic depth -- able to support technicians on complex, multi-system problems across the Toyota lineup

Prior shop foreman, lead technician, or supervisory experience a strong plus

ASE certifications a strong plus

Clear communicator and natural teacher -- you share knowledge willingly and hold the team accountable with consistency and care

Comfortable with Toyota Techstream and dealer DMS platforms

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

$80,000 - $120,000/yr

Paid Toyota manufacturer training and certification support

Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

Paid time off and paid holidays

Career path -- strong Technician Services Managers at Swickard grow into service management and fixed ops leadership roles

Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

A high-performing team environment where your technical expertise is genuinely valued and put to work every day

Toyota is one of the most trusted brands on the road -- consistent service volume means the shop is always busy and the team always has work to develop on

Edmonds is a tight-knit community in the greater Seattle market -- a store where your technical reputation and leadership carry real weight

This role puts you at the center of the operation -- not behind a desk, but on the floor where technical decisions get made and the team looks to you for answers

Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- shape how we lead our teams just as much as how we serve our guests

Leadership that respects the technical side of the business and invests in the people who keep it running at its best

The best technicians reach a point where their impact is limited by how many bays they can personally work. The Technician Services Manager role at Swickard Toyota of Edmonds is for the tech who is ready to multiply that impact -- by raising the standard of the whole shop, developing the next generation of Toyota technicians, and owning the technical culture of a high-volume service operation.

If you have the technical depth, the leadership instinct, and the drive to build something better -- this is the role you've been ready for.
