Tool Trailer Coordinator

Staffmark is hiring a Tool Trailer Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of an on-site tool trailer, ensuring customers have the tools, consumables, and safety equipment they need to keep projects running efficiently. Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer skills and experience entering data into tracking systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain required industrial facility credentials, if needed.

Physical Capabilities:

  • Ability to lift and move tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to inspect tools and equipment for safety and functionality.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor industrial or construction environments.
  • Ability to safely handle tools and equipment of varying sizes and weights.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the daily operations of an on-site tool trailer and tool rooms.
  • Issue tools, consumables, and safety equipment to customers.
  • Inspect returned tools for condition and proper operation.
  • Perform visual safety inspections of tools and equipment.
  • Enter and track inventory using the Total Control system.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of tools and consumable supplies.
  • Assist with trailer mobilization and setup at customer sites.
  • Keep the tool trailer clean, organized, and customer ready.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer tool and equipment needs.
  • Communicate with customers and management to ensure inventory supports project demands.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
