As an Anaplan Director, you will lead enterprise planning and transformation engagements, helping clients modernize forecasting, budgeting, workforce planning, and decision-making capabilities through Anaplan solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, oversee complex implementations, drive business development efforts, and contribute to the continued growth of the Transformation Practice.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Lead full lifecycle Anaplan implementations, including strategy, planning, design, build, testing, deployment, and support
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on planning, performance management, and transformation initiatives
• Lead business process assessments and future-state design workshops
• Oversee solution architecture, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, and quality assurance
• Manage project teams, budgets, timelines, risks, and overall engagement delivery
• Drive client satisfaction through strong governance, communication, and issue resolution
• Develop and expand executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services
• Lead proposal development, solutioning, pricing discussions, and pursuit activities
• Support practice growth through thought leadership, go-to-market initiatives, and business development efforts
• Mentor and develop consultants, managers, and solution architects
• Recruit, interview, and develop top talent across the practice
• Meet or exceed targeted utilization and business development goals
• Contribute to methodology development, practice operations, and intellectual capital creation
• Other duties as assigned

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, MIS, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience delivering enterprise planning, EPM, or digital transformation solutions
• Proven experience leading complex Anaplan implementations and enterprise transformation programs
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, financial planning, and operational planning processes
• Experience with EPM integrations, data management, and enterprise system connectivity
• Demonstrated success managing executive-level client relationships and influencing business outcomes
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent engagements
• Strong program management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with business development, proposal development, solutioning, and revenue growth activities
• Proven ability to mentor teams, develop leaders, and drive practice growth
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Anaplan certifications preferred
• Ability to travel as needed; expected travel up to 40%

The base salary range for this position is between $211,646 and $273,818. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton's discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity. At Grant Thornton, compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
