Summary
The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and safely transporting clients to and from facility programming, including newly admitted clients, appointments, and activity trips in a punctual and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation needs with site directors and operations manager.
Drives company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activities, discharges, and other events.
Completes transportation log and vehicle safety checks.
Ensure vehicles are kept clean, functional, and in safe condition.
Picks up medications and other client needs as approved by program directors.
Responds in a timely manner to transportation request emails.
Assists with maintenance requests.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years' experience in maintenance or facility operations is required.
Must have and maintain a valid California drivers license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray.
Knowledge of the requirements for providing services needed to clients.
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
