Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have an excellent driving record.
3. Valid Class B CDL driver's license with "P" and "S" endorsements and no Air Brake restriction.
4. ODE School Bus Driver Certificate required.
5. Must pass criminal history check.
6. Ability to pass physical, drug and alcohol tests.
7. Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles in a safe and economical way.
8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to get along well with students of all ages and their parents.
9. Ability to learn routes, rules and procedures.
10. Work hours are with an attempt to fill a forty-hour week but are not guaranteed.
11. Work varying split shifts as needed for students or school calendars, including subbing on both regular and SPED routes as assigned.
12. Must have one year's experience driving a school bus and pass the required out of district training within 30 days of hire.
13. Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Upon Selection, Employees Will Be Required To Pay For The Following:

• $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $70 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.

Compensation:

• $22.16 (current 2024-2025 pay rates, 2025-2026 pay rates contingent on ratification and School Board approval).
