TRANSPORTER FULL TIME DAYS
Apply NowThe OR Transporter supports safe, efficient patient flow throughout the hospital by providing patient transport, equipment movement, OR room support, turn over, and general unit assistance. This role plays a key operational role in maintaining on-time surgical starts, supporting Pre-Op throughput, and ensuring patients are safely transported back to inpatient units or procedural areas based on staffing levels and daily volume demands. The OR Transporter works collaboratively with nursing, anesthesia, physicians, and ancillary departments to improve efficiency, safety, and patient experience.

QualificationsTransporter Job Requirements:
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year in healthcare, patient transport, hospitality, or customer service environment preferred.
- Skills: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and transport patients and equipment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Customer service mindset with focus on patient experience.
- License / Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
