Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Trauma Neurosurgeon

to join our team at

Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC) , a nationally recognized

Level I Trauma Center

located in downtown Orlando. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the

first dedicated inpatient trauma neurosurgeon , playing a critical role in advancing and shaping the future of our neurotrauma program. Position Overview This position is designed to provide

focused inpatient neurotrauma coverage , serving as the

primary daytime responder for all neurosurgical trauma cases . The physician will work closely with a multidisciplinary trauma team and serve as a key liaison between the neurosurgery division and hospital leadership to enhance clinical workflows, patient outcomes, and program development. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first-line neurosurgeon for all incoming trauma cases during daytime hours

Evaluate and manage patients with TBI and other acute neurosurgical conditions

Perform emergent cranial neurosurgical procedures as indicated

Collaborate with trauma surgery, critical care, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care

Act as a liaison between hospital leadership and the trauma program

Participate in the development of best practices, protocols, and program goals for neurotrauma services

Ensure seamless transitions of care from inpatient to outpatient settings

Fellowship training or significant experience in neurotrauma, cranial neurosurgery, or traumatic brain injury (TBI) preferred

Experience practicing in a Level I Trauma Center strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity, complex trauma cases

Commitment to team-based care and program development
