American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 07/13/2026 * Duration: 13 weeks * 40 hours per week * Shift: 10 hours, days * Employment Type: TravelAssignment Overview * Shift: Days, 4x10hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Jul 13, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring strong interventional and STEMI experience, with on-call responsibilities and Cerner charting proficiency.Details * Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting * Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts (6:30-17:00 or 7:30-18:00) * 13-week contract * On-call required: approximately 10-12 shifts per month, including weekend call * Procedures performed include: Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablader, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI * Cerner charting experience required * Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate facility may be requiredRequirements * Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand * Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted) * Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab RN experience required * Strong hands-on experience with interventional procedures and STEMI management is a hard requirement * Cerner EMR experience required * RN degree must be from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation * SSN and DOB required for consideration * 2 supervisor references required for considerationAdditional Information * First-time travelers are welcome to apply * Indiana residents are considered local candidates and are eligible at a modified pay package * Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays * Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved * Former permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have a 12-month separation before applying as a traveler * Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive eligibility reset break: 90 days for out-of-state residents and 180 days for in-state residentsAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-717447.
