American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Placerville, California.Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 07/08/2026 * Duration: 13 weeks * 40 hours per week * Shift: 8 hours, days * Employment Type: TravelAssignment Overview * Shift: Days, 5x8hrs * Hours: 40 hrs/wk * Start Date: Jul 8, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency across a broad range of cardiac procedures including EP, IABP, and TEE.Details * Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab * Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertion, lead extraction/removal, cardioversion, IABP placement/removal, TEE, tilt table studies, and stress testing (exercise and pharmacological) * Responsible for scrubbing and circulating procedures * Administers and monitors procedural sedation, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, dobutamine, thrombolytics, reversal agents, and emergency medications * Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PMRequirements * Active CA RN license required * Current ACLS certification required * Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP nursing experience required * Proficiency in a broad range of cardiac cath lab skills including EP procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition, sheath removal/monitoring, and radiation and laser safety * Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPEAdditional Information * First-time travelers are welcome to apply * All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration * 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration * Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for considerationAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-717030.
