Outpatient radiology/imaging department (X-Ray/CT) Monday through Friday day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts No weekend or holiday shifts required No floating requirements indicated Epic EMR — experience required Requirements
ARRT (R) certification required BLS (AHA) required Illinois IEMA Radiography License required — license required if applicable Associate's Degree in a related field or a Certificate in Radiologic Technology required Minimum 1 year of relevant Rad Tech experience Epic EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information
Performs CT and general radiographic procedures including patient positioning, image acquisition, and processing in accordance with department protocols Administers IV and oral/rectal contrast; recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions Reviews radiology orders, patient history, and clinical data for accuracy and medical necessity Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides relevant clinical information for radiologist interpretation May be required to perform duties in other modalities within the department based on licensure held May assume Lead Rad Tech or Imaging Coordinator duties in their absence Assists in the instruction of students and new staff as needed Responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, supply inventories, and orderliness of the work area RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Candidates who have been continuously on assignment with this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system American Traveler Job ID #P-705800.
