Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Crescent City, California. The role involves providing patient care in a busy ER setting, managing a diverse patient population across all age groups. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day and have a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience.
Job Details:
* Location: Crescent City, California
* Schedule: 12-hour days, every other weekend, with three weekend shifts per week
* Shift Hours: 12 hours
* Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
* Required Qualifications: Valid state license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), minimum of 5 years of ER experience, experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line management, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation monitoring, triage experience, and Epic electronic charting experience preferred.
* Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting system experience.
* Certifications: All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) approved and in hand at the time of submittal.
* Travel Experience: Required; candidates must have prior travel experience.
* Experience: 5 years in ER nursing is required.
* Patient Ratios: 4 patients per shift during days, nights, and weekends.
* Additional Information:
* Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
* 50-mile travel requirement; local candidates accepted at a lower rate.
* Return staff policy applicablemust have been gone for at least one year to return as a traveler.
* 7-year work history verification required, with accurate documentation.
* Vaccinations: COVID-19 and flu vaccines required.
