Unit Details

• Location: Radiology Department, 1st Floor
• Equipment: GE 450W 1.5T
• EMR: Meditech / Centricity PACS
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: 2 Technologists
  • Evening Shift: 2 Technologists
  • Nights: Call coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies including:
  • Brain, Spine, Ortho
  • Body, Abdomen
  • Cardiac (preferred)
• Operate GE 450W 1.5T MRI scanner
• Maintain accuracy in imaging and documentation
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the radiology team

Required Qualifications

• Experience on GE MRI equipment
• Virginia License in hand at submission
• MR Registered
• BLS Certification

Schedule & Call Requirements

• Primary Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Call:
  • Weekend call rotation (approx. 1 weekend/month)
  • Two weeknights of call per week (11 PM–6 AM)
