• Location: Plano, TX 75075 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Unit: Level II-III NICU (41 beds)
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1470 - $1570

NICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Level II-III NICU nursing experience
• Level III-IV NICU experience preferred
• Proficiency with HFOV, central lines, conventional ventilators, CPAP, NIPPV, and ostomy care
• Experience with CPN and Meditech EMR systems preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

NICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neonates in a Level II-III NICU environment
• Monitor and manage infants requiring advanced respiratory support, including HFOV, CPAP, and NIPPV
• Care for micro-preemies and post-surgical neonates (excluding head/heart surgeries)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to the nursery as needed to provide clinical support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
• Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and infection control standards
