Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida nursing license preferred
  
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
  
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  
• Clinical expertise in Ortho, Neuro, and Robotics surgical cases
  
• CNOR certification preferred
  
• Ability to float between campuses as needed
  

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to plan and deliver patient care in the operating room
  
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality clinical support
  
• Maintain surgical supplies and ensure timely case management
  
• Communicate effectively with patient families and update physician preference cards
  
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
  
• Supervise healthcare personnel providing patient care
  
• Comply with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory guidelines, physician orders, and hospital policies
