Case Requirements / Specialties:

General/GYN/Urology/PV: Circulate cases including bowel resections, laparoscopic, daVinci Xi, urology (open & scope), bariatrics, c-sections, lap appy, lap chole

Ortho: Circulate total joints (with/without MAKO), arthroscopy, ortho trauma, plus general surgical coverage above

Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics: Circulate trach, ENT (T&A, BMT, FESS), plastics, breast reductions, spine fusions, laminectomy, crani, facial fractures, laryngoscopy/bronchoscopy, neck dissections, plus general surgical coverage above

Specialized Groups: Ortho; Neuro/ENT/Oral/Plastics; CV-T (including peripheral vascular); General/GYN/Urology/Peripheral Vascular

Roles & Support:

Scrubbing: Required for techs; RNs do not scrub

Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Always one RN in the OR

OR Techs: Yes

Floating: Yes, to Outpatient Surgery Center across campus

Shifts & Scheduling:

Day Shift: 07:00–15:30, 07:00–17:30, or 07:00–19:30

PM Shift: 15:00–23:30 approximately every 5 weeks

Night Shift: 23:00–07:00 possible with experience

Shift Options: 8-hour or 10-hour; 12-hour available on subsequent contracts if staffing allows

Call & Weekend Requirements:

Weeknight Call: 1–2 nights/week, end of shift to 07:00

Weekend Call: 1 weekend every 5–6 weekends

Holiday Call: At least 1 per year

Call Response Time: Call Team 1 = 30 min; Teams 2–4 = 45 min

Orientation:

2–3 days with educator for basics + CBTs

1–2 weeks for hands-on cases / learning flow

Submission Notes:

Must note if clinician has previously worked at Marshfield; previous employment must end ≥6 months prior

All clinicians must clock in/out at the facility
