Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:


• Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations under general supervision

• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies

• Conduct specialized procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series and body section radiography

• Circulate to other diagnostic radiology areas as assigned (surgery, trauma, and pediatrics)

• Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures

• Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and/or film output

• Act as a resource and preceptor for other Radiographers and/or students

• May participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills in CT, MRI, or Special Procedures

• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for area of primary responsibility

• Assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages

• Communicate technical information effectively to patients and/or parents

• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials in cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty, AHA BLS

• Required education: Graduate of CAAHEP accredited program with cardiovascular specialty emphasis OR JRCERT accredited program with radiologic technology specialty emphasis

• Preferred: One year full-time experience as certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional, Associate's degree or higher
