This opportunity is ideal for an RN who is comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting and floating to other units as needed.Schedule:--- Night Shift - 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM--- Three 12-hour shifts per week--- 36 guaranteed hours--- Every other weekend and holiday requiredResponsibilities:--- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process--- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards--- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans--- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team--- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs--- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record--- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and shared governance activities--- Float to other units as needed to support patient careRequirements:--- Active Wisconsin RN License--- Current BLS Certification--- Current NIHSS Certification--- Strong Med-Surg and Adult Surgical nursing experience--- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skillsAdditional Details:--- Adult Surgical Unit with limited Pediatric patients--- Floating required based on staffing needs--- EPIC EMR experience preferred--- No on-call requiredPatterns Hiring Job ID #297756.
