Traveling Superintendent

Location: Trinidad, CA

Salary: $155k-$175k + Per Diem

We're looking for a builder. Not someone who only manages a portion of a project, but a Superintendent who knows how to build a project from the ground up and take ownership from the earliest stages of site development through final turnover.

We're looking for a Superintendent who doesn't just take over once the building comes out of the ground. The ideal candidate has successfully led ground-up commercial, multifamily, hotel, casino, resort, or mixed-use projects from the earliest phases of site development, including grading, earthwork, underground utilities, paving, and concrete operations, and can carry a project all the way through vertical construction, finishes, commissioning, and owner turnover.

This role is best suited for a builder who can take ownership of field execution from mobilization and sitework through punch list and owner handoff. We're seeking someone who understands that successful projects are won or lost long before the structure starts going vertical.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of field operations, coordinating subcontractors and construction activities from site development through final turnover. The ideal candidate understands both civil and vertical construction and can effectively execute the work while partnering with Senior Superintendents, General Superintendents, and Project Leadership to achieve project goals.

We're particularly interested in Superintendents who:

  • Have successfully delivered ground-up commercial, multifamily, hospitality, casino, resort, or mixed-use developments.
  • Bring a strong civil background with experience overseeing grading, earthwork, underground utilities, paving, concrete, and site logistics.
  • Can effectively manage projects from raw land and site development through certificate of occupancy and owner turnover.
  • Understand scheduling, sequencing, subcontractor management, and field coordination.
  • Have experience working closely with municipal inspectors, utility providers, engineers, architects, owners, and trade partners throughout all phases of construction.
  • Take pride in quality, safety, accountability, and jobsite leadership.
  • Enjoy travel and working on projects in different markets.

This opportunity is ideal for a true builder who enjoys seeing a project evolve from raw land to a completed facility and understands what it takes to successfully execute both the civil and vertical phases of construction. We're looking for someone who can step onto a site when it's still dirt, utilities, and grading stakes, and lead the project all the way to a successful turnover.
