Animal Clinic of Rapid City, SD is looking for and experienced Veterinarian for a hybrid Emergency/GP role.
We are a progressive 8 Doctor Practice that has a team-based approach to medicine and mentorship. We believe in providing high quality compassionate care to our patients and enjoy a collaborative and positive work environment with our patient’s wellbeing in mind.
Our schedule encourages a healthy work life balance with doctors working 3-4 shifts per week, rotating weekends, and some overnights. We offer an attractive compensation, and benefits package.
OUR HOSPITAL
Established in 1958 and relocated to our new state of the art facility which opened in 2024. Our hospital has 10 exam rooms, 2 comfort rooms with outdoor access, two well equipped small animal surgery suites, a dental suite with 2 dental tables, a large treatment area with an ICU for our hospital patients, separate dog and cat housing areas in the hospital, a large oxygen cage.
Our hospital provides both general practice and 24-hour emergency care. We are the only emergency veterinary hospital within 250 miles! Offering endoscopy, ultrasound, and orthopedic services.

We are in the Black Hills of South Dakota, close to Mount Rushmore.
