Owl Creek Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care.  We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.  The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

  • $110,000-$140,000 Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)

Virginia Beach is known for its beach-lined oceanfront along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and its 3-mile boardwalk. The boardwalk contains restaurants, nightly entertainment, and biking paths. The beach is host to the annual Neptune Festival which features which features over 40 events, including sculpting competitions, arts & crafts shows, volleyball tournaments and more. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center is located just minutes from the boardwalk in the Rudee Inlet. Virginia Beach is also known for its military presence, and has been called "America's True Navy Town" due to the nearby naval stations and academies.

What We're Looking For

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice veterinary medicine
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent patient care
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset
