Veterinary Assistant -- Emergency

We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant to support our Emergency department. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, stays calm under pressure and is passionate about high-quality patient care.

Sunday-Wednesday, 7am-6pm

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians and other team members with emergency patient care
• Safely restrain pets for exams and treatments
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment
• Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes promptly
• Perform vitals, basic nursing care, treatments, diagnostics and procedures
• Communicate compassionately with clients and team members
• Help maintain a clean, organized and efficient ER environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous veterinary experience (ER experience a plus)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Compassionate, dependable and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with critically ill and injured patients
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
