Technician Assistant and CSRAs one of our TA/CSRs you will play a dual role that serves as a first point of contact for our clients and referring veterinarians. If you have excellent customer service, caring demeanor, communicate professionally, and are an ace at front office tasks, this role is for you. Additionally, you'll gain clinical insight through supporting doctors, the imaging director, and senior technician staff in cases, procedures and other medically focused tasks.Key Responsibilities:Customer ServiceServe as a clients first impression of Sage Veterinary Imaging in-person, on the phone and over email ensuring to represent the world class care that patients are receivingAnswer incoming phone calls from clients and referring veterinarians ensuring calls are returned within approved timelinesCoordinate with clinical staff to own and manage the scheduling of patientsPresent patient care estimates to clients and provide information on diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and surgical interventions recommended by the veterinarianObtain patient histories from referring veterinarians, in addition to maintaining patient records and transfer of information across digital platforms such as the SVI Whiteboard Coordinate pickup and drop-off of patients with clients the clinical staff as well as collect paymentsWork with the clinical staff and SVI leadership to identify and suggest best practices in the field of veterinary related customer serviceProvides phone coverage for all 3 locations on some Saturdays, as scheduledTechnician AssistantAdmit/Discharge patientsUltrasound machine setupCleaning/ Sanitizing (Cages, Treatment, Surgical equipment)Restraint Basic Laboratory Procedures Record keeping Assist doctors with physical examsAssists technicians with proceduresPrepare Lab samples to send outCan prepare a patient and the machine for an ultrasound procedureObtaining vitals on patientsAssist other team members when needed.Can compassionately and effectively restrain pets.Maintains a positive attitudePerform laboratory proceduresUnderstands the importance of a clean and orderly facility, does not hesitate to clean or organize as part of a normal job duty. Daily closing proceduresOther tasks as assigned by a supervisorRequirements/Preferences:Associates degree or equivalent (preferred)Previous experience in customer service, facilities oversight, and administration requiredPrevious experience in veterinary medicine as a technician (preferred)Professional appearance and demeanorReliable attendance and stellar execution of dutiesEffective communicator with effective problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to build rapport with clients and referring veterinariansExperience with scheduling and invoicing software required (experience with EzyVet a plus)Familiarity with: G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, etc), scheduling software in general, Hubspot, SlackPlease complete our job style survey as a required part of the application process: https://go.cultureindex.com/p/UwPdTD3XEc8xhc
