We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to support inventory operations within our cannabis processing facility. This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory accuracy across raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, distribution, or backroom logistics. Candidates with experience in retail inventory environments such as Target, grocery distribution, food manufacturing, or other high-volume inventory operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Essential Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Receive, sort, organize, and track incoming inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within company systems and ERP platforms.
  • Upload, verify, and manage inventory data within distribution and inventory management software.
  • Ensure inventory movements are properly documented and recorded.

Warehouse Operations

  • Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and product accessibility.
  • Maintain accurate locations for inventory, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Stage materials for production and distribution activities.
  • Support receiving, transfers, and outbound shipment preparation.

Inventory Accuracy & Auditing

  • Perform routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Reconcile physical inventory against ERP and internal tracking systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and quarterly inventory reporting processes.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure inventory records remain accurate and compliant with company procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation of inventory transactions and adjustments.
  • Follow all SOPs related to inventory control, storage, and warehouse operations.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, packaging, shipping, and management teams.
  • Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, and operational concerns.
  • Support overall warehouse efficiency and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, logistics, or backroom operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP software, or distribution platforms.
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Preferred

  • Experience with Target backroom operations, retail inventory management, grocery distribution, food manufacturing, or perishable inventory systems.
  • Experience working in regulated manufacturing, food production, or cannabis operations.
  • Familiarity with ERP, warehouse management, or distribution software.
