We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Romeoville, IL for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The position is Exempt with a salary of $68K paid twice per month. The schedule is Wednesday 12am-6am, Thursday-Saturday 6pm to 6am.

Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible to supervise, coordinate and oversee the logistics operations and provide coaching, development and training to the staff members. The successful candidate must be able to provide recommendations for improvements to the facility, equipment, machinery, and processes. They will be accountable that the staff is performing to standard and has to ensure that progress is made to achieve the business objectives.

Essential functions include supervising, coordinating and overseeing day to day logistics operations; planning and reviewing logistics processes; establishing work schedules and procedures; being accountable for site Key Performance Indication (KPI); working in collaboration with the customer in all aspects of operations; meeting regularly with team members to monitor progress towards meeting objectives, track performance, coach and counsel as well as recognizing team and individual successes; cultivating team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promoting cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes; carrying out performance evaluations of the team members and recommending performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate; addressing performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process; understanding labor agreement and maintaining positive labor relations with all employees; responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices and behaviors and adherence to company rules and policies; providing appropriate orientation for employees and leading hands by giving them the information, technology and any material necessary to perform their jobs.

Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a H.S. diploma/GED required, one (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred, and 0 to one (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Compensation offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are $68,000 minimum to $68,000 maximum.
