Warehouse Associate - Mass Production of Compressors

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced compressor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, staging, moving, picking, packing, and verifying materials to ensure products and components are delivered accurately and on time. Associates play a key role in inventory accuracy, quality control, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Shift

1st Shift: 5:00 AM 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 2:00 AM

3rd Shift: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Pay

$18.00 $20.70 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for production and customer shipments.
• Stage materials and components for production teams and warehouse operations.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle count activities.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and product locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Report damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and shipping issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records using inventory tracking systems and scanners.
• Support the movement of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, or material-handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with productivity goals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment supporting compressor manufacturing operations.
• Regular exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and shipping equipment.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and material movement throughout the shift.
• Climate can vary depending on warehouse location and production activity.
• Required use of PPE and adherence to safety standards at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
