Shift: Sunday-Friday (off Saturday and one day during the week) 5:30pm- until work is done (about 9-10 hours roughly)-- if worker has an appt/family commitments, manager is willing to work with the "end time" so long as they work the min 8 hours).
Experience Required: Has experience in a traditional warehouse setting (there are no conveyor belts at this facility-- candidates MUST be OK on their feet for 10-12 hours per day, and have good spatial awareness as workers are moving constantly around the facility).
Performance: Able to pick 100-140 items per hour. An average order is probably around 40 pieces but it can be highly variable. Some are quite a bit larger than others - for example a weekend from a large restaurant chain order can be over 100 pieces easily. --Typically after around 4 weeks we would expect to see a viable candidate at 80-100 pcs per hour. At or above 100 after 6 weeks.
Equipment: Electric pallet jack (required) and stand-up reach truck (preferred as they will be using this if converted).
Environment: Having worked in/be OK working in cold/wet environment AND can provide their own PPE for the cold.
Attendance: Proof of a good attendance record (having worked at all previous employers for min 6 months over the past 2 years).
Experience: min 6 months of selecting experience.
Lifting: Able to lift up to 50lbs (individually).
