Water/Mold Mitigation Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Water/Mold Mitigation Technician to join our restoration team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who isn't afraid of physical work, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire and mold damage losses with urgency and professionalism.
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, demolition, and mold remediation tasks.
• Set up, monitor, and break down restoration equipment according to IICRC standards.
• Take detailed moisture readings and accurately document job progress using mobile apps or job forms.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with property owners experiencing high stress.
• Work closely with team members, project managers, and insurance adjusters.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) or Mold Remediation Technician certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be available for occasional on-call shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent customer communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
