WATER & SEWER OPERATIONS OPERATOR

The Somerset County Sanitary District, Inc. is accepting applications for a Water and Sewer Operations Operator.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency.  Applicants must possess basic mechanical abilities.  Experience in the fields Water Treatment and Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment, or Industrial Maintenance is a plus.  Water or Wastewater Operator Certification is a plus. The candidate with in-house training will be expected to acquire a B CDL with airbrake and tanker endorsements.  A copy of the applicants license and MVA Driving Record must be submitted with all applications.

The Water and Sewer Operations Operator position includes the following benefits:  MD Pension System, Health Insurance, Vacation, and Sick Leave.

The Position is a Grade 6 with a starting salary of $46,556.
