We have weekend opportunities across Baltimore County, Howard County, and Baltimore City, including day, evening, and overnight assignments.

Whether youre an experienced caregiver, looking to supplement your weekday income, or beginning a career in home care, well provide the training, support, and encouragement you need to succeed.

Applicants for this position must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Available assignments include:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Short and extended shifts
• Ongoing, consistent weekend assignments

Specific schedules will depend on client needs, caregiver qualifications, availability, and location.

What Youll Do

As a Senior Helpers caregiver, youll help older adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes by providing personalized care that may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Helping with walking, transfers, and mobility
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Observing and reporting changes in a clients condition
• Completing simple visit documentation

Every client has unique needs, and youll have the support of our experienced office team every step of the way.

What Were Looking For

Were looking for weekend caregivers who are:

• Consistently available on Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive
• Dependable and punctual
• Professional and respectful
• Strong communicators
• Passionate about helping older adults remain safe, independent, and engaged

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, GNA, or home care experience preferred
• Availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass all required background screenings
• Current TB screening or willingness to obtain one
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain it
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance
