Johnson Service Group is looking for a Weekend CNC Service Technician with 2-5 years' experience working in an Aerospace environment. Employees must be available to work on a weekend schedule consisting of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This is for an Aircraft company in Valencia, CA. $38.00-48.00 HR plus differential DOE Overview: Primarily conducts maintenance services, repairs, recoveries, and PMs of CNC machinery and automated equipment. Daily task included complete facility maintenance services, repairs, and installation work under minimum supervision. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, repair, service, overhaul on all major production equipment Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on CNC lathes and mills, compressors, ovens, test stands autoclaves etc. These will include daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, Bi-annually and annually PMs services Understand, practice and follow all LOTO and Arc flash policies and regulations in accordance with NFPA 70E standards Install and move machinery and equipment when necessary using heavy machinery and safe rigging practices Diagnose operating problems and perform simple to major corrections on various types of machinery with or without assistance Replace, rebuild and/or overhaul worn out or broken parts for major production machinery May assist in the handling, collecting, disposing/distributing of hazardous materials Maintain a safe and clean work area, and understand and follows all 6s standards Fabricate machinery guarding as needed Qualifications: Requires a minimum of three (3) years' experience in CNC machine tool maintenance and repair, with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical skills necessary. Must be able to read, write and understand English, follow verbal and written instructions, and read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, plans and sketches. Must be able to use and read a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and all required electrical measuring and testing devices. (Multi meters, temperature test probes, I.R scanner and data recorders ) Must perform simple installations such as running piping for air, gas, and water as well as electrical conduit and wires. Must be able show the ability to work with outside contractor, vendors, and equipment factory technical support to resolve existing equipment or facility issues Must be able to show the ability to work well in a team environment as well as alone on assigned projects or daily assignments Must be able to operator forklifts, man lifts and scissors for various facility aerial task HS Diploma or equivalent JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
