Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely fabricate & assemble metal components using various welding techniques while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong work ethic.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG & TIG welding as required.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components.Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools safely.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety policies.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.Assist with other shop or production duties as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous 2-3 years of welding or fabrication experience is preferred.Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.Knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety gear.Preferred SkillsWelding certifications (AWS or equivalent) are a plus.Forklift experience.Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, or structural steel fabrication.Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.BenefitsWork (4) 9 hour days and half days on Friday.Competitive pay based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysOvertime opportunities availableOn-the-job training and career advancement opportunities
