Job Description
The Winding Technician is responsible for ensuring a proficient flow of product with quality and safety at the forefront every day; wind and store fibrous material.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Inspect, test, document and communicate all findings during the rewind process
- Test condition of winding according to EASA standards
- Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment
- Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions
- Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding
- Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines
- Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of manufacturing experience
- Must work well in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product
