Account Executive | HCLS

This is a quota-carrying sales role focused on growing business across the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. You will build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, engage executive decision-makers, and position technology solutions as strategic business enablers. The role combines territory planning, full-cycle sales execution, pipeline development, account expansion, and customer relationship management. You will partner closely with Sales Development Representatives, Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, and Apple to deliver customer-focused solutions. Success will depend on your ability to understand customer needs, communicate value effectively, and consistently deliver against sales targets. Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive customer value and expand the organization's footprint within assigned accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity development through negotiation and closing.
  • Build qualified pipeline through proactive engagement with existing and prospective customer stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts while supporting customer retention and long-term value.
  • Establish meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and bridge engagement to executive-level decision-makers.
  • Understand customer business and technology needs and collaborate with Sales Engineers to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Present the value of the full suite of solutions to stakeholders across different organizational levels.
  • Build trusted relationships across the broader sales ecosystem, including Channel Partners and Apple.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue attainment on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Use sales technologies and platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach, DiscoverOrg, and LinkedIn Navigator to manage pipeline development and sales activity.
  • Contribute to a collaborative sales culture by sharing insights, best practices, and customer knowledge.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales role is required.
  • At least 2 years of software sales experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare technology, medical technology, or biotechnology sales experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry a quota and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proven ability to expand a technology portfolio within existing customer accounts while supporting retention.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into compelling business and technology solutions.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Channel Partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem or SaaS sales is a plus but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required, while a four-year bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Applicants must be based in the United States and authorized to live and work in the U.S. with the required sponsorship status.
