Travel Medical Technologist (ASCP)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Technologist for a travel position. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform a variety of laboratory tests and will work in multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing in various laboratory areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, and phlebotomy.
• Float between different laboratory locations as required.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of testing results.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in a laboratory generalist role.
• MLS or MT certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy and blood bank procedures is essential.

Additional Information

• Evening shifts: 5x8 hour shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM.
• Rotating weekends and holidays may be required.
• No on-call requirements.
• Scrub color: black/turquoise or all turquoise.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Cerner.
