Area Sales Manager (Individual Contributor) Critical Care (ICU/ED)

We're seeking a driven and experienced medical sales professional to lead growth in a high-impact territory, calling on Emergency Medicine and Critical Care departments. You'll represent cutting-edge, non-invasive technology that's reshaping clinical workflows and improving patient outcomes across ICUs and EDs.

What You'll Do:

• Drive new business development while growing and supporting existing accounts
• Lead consultative sales conversations with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital leadership
• Execute tailored account strategies in a fast-paced, 3-month sales cycle
• Partner closely with internal clinical and training teams for seamless implementations
• Deliver high-level clinical and economic presentations to hospital committees
• Own your territory from forecasting to budget management and account strategy
• Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and clinical champions

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ years of medical device sales experience, with 2+ years in critical care or emergency medicine
• Strong track record of success in hospital-based consultative sales
• Ultrasound or hemodynamic monitoring experience highly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Startup company experience is highly desirable
• Willingness to travel extensively (60%+) within region; Northern CA / San Fran Bay area
