The Miami team defends hospitals, physicians, and healthcare facilities in high-stakes malpractice matters, and the firm has nearly quadrupled in size since before COVID. The billable target is 1,800 hours — below the typical defense-firm expectation — and the compensation is set to the Miami market.

Key Duties:
- Defend physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation
- Manage cases from investigation through medical-record review, discovery, and depositions
- Coordinate with medical experts and prepare for mediations and trial
- Handle hearings, motion practice, and court appearances
- Advise insurers and healthcare clients on strategy and exposure
Requirements:
- JD and active Florida bar
- 3–8+ years of medical malpractice defense or complex healthcare litigation experience
- Strong writing, deposition, and case-management skills
