Automotive Body Shop Technician Responsibilities
Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are received
Prepare vehicles for body repair work
Notify management of any additional repairs needed
Communicate any difficulties or issues that may impact repair quality or completion times
Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
Perform repairs with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Automotive Body Shop Technician Requirements
Previous body shop experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Highly organized with excellent communication skills
Valid driver's license required
Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
High School Diploma or GED required
