Overview:
Our family-oriented, patient-focused primary care practice in DeLand is seeking a Bilingual Physician to join a supportive team. This role offers a shortened Friday and a dedicated support team, including front desk, medical assistant, referrals coordinator, and quality measures coordinator.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Competitive salary: $240,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide well-woman exams, well visits, and sick visits for a diverse patient population across the lifespan
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations, to formulate accurate diagnoses
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage chronic disease and medications, adjusting plans based on clinical response
• Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, and patient education on lifestyle and risk factor modification
• Address Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) quality measures with each patient
• Document encounters in the EHR, ensuring accurate coding and billing information
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families, and collaborate with nurses and specialists to coordinate care and referrals
• Participate in practice meetings and quality improvement initiatives, adhering to clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active, current Physician (MD/DO) licensure in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required, with confidence in medical Spanish
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient population in a family-oriented, patient-focused environment
• Familiarity with quality metrics, value-based care, and minor office procedures preferred
